Date/Time formatting

The string representation of data of type date/time like exom::XmDateTime (exom::XmTime32) can be formatted in different ways by the exom API. Therefor the API provide two methods:

Both methods require a format parameter, which describe the format of the date/time representation. The format parameter can be used for conversion in both direction (from and to strings). The following sample show the representation of a date.

Sample:

Format: "MM/DD/YYYY HH:mm:ss" Output: "04/17/2006 22:16:48"

Format characters:

YY or YYYY represent the year with two or four digits
M or MM represent the moth with one or two digits in the range from 1-12
D or DD represent the day of the moth with one or two digits in the range from 1-31
H or HH represent the hour with one or two digits in the range from 0-23
h or hh represent the hour with one or two digits in the range from 0-12
m or mm represent the minutes with one or two digits in the range from 0-59
s or ss represent the seconds with one or two digits in the range from 0-59
x represent the relation to meridium (AM or PM).
